Description

Mayland is a 16th-century timber-framed house with a roughcast exterior and a thatched roof featuring gabled ends. The building is positioned at right angles to the road and has two storeys. On the right side, there are two four-light diamond mullion windows, while the left side has a modern casement window. The house has a modern central door and porch. At the rear (north), there is a wing that is also roughcast timber-frame with a thatched roof and gabled end, which has one storey and an attic, along with a brick chimney stack at the junction. Inside, the house features chamfered ceiling beams and joists.
