Description

Yewtree Cottage is a 17th-century timber-frame house, rendered with roughcast. It has a steep, gable-ended roof covered in asbestos tiles. Internal and external brick chimney stacks rise at the north and south ends of the building. The cottage has two storeys. Modern casement windows are fitted, with two modern bay windows and a doorway sheltered by a modern pent roof on the ground floor. The interior features a massive stopped and chamfered ceiling beam with heavy joists.
