Description

This is an early 17th century timber-frame house located on the south-east side of the High Road in Needham. The exterior is roughcast, and the roof is covered with steep pantiles, featuring gabled ends. A brick chimney stack is centrally positioned. The house has two storeys and an attic, with an attic window visible in one of the gable ends. It has three windows, with modern three- and four-light casements containing leaded panes. A single, original small three-light ovolo moulded mullion window is located centrally on the first floor. A modern central door has been placed in front of the chimney stack. A later lean-to addition is present at the rear of the building.
