Description
School House is an early 19th-century building that was originally a private house and is now divided into flats. It belongs to Knole Park. The structure features stone laid in continuous courses with flint infilling. It has a concealed slate roof with a battlemented parapet and a central gable adorned with carved stone moulding. A corbelled cornice runs along the top. The building is two storeys high and has stone segmental arched windows with wooden mullions and transoms. There is a central projecting porch with an ogee arch and a square projection above that contains a window. The building is topped with coupled ornamental brick chimney stacks.
