Description
Flint House, located at 197 Woodside Road in Amersham, is an early 19th-century building constructed from knapped flint with rough flint dressings and clunch quoins. It features a hipped slate roof with projecting eaves and a moulded cornice. The house is two storeys high and has three sash windows on the front elevation, along with a modern central porch that has a tent-shaped roof. To the right, there is a lower wing with brick quoins, which includes a loft door above and blank recesses below on the road-facing elevation. The rear elevation has three first-floor windows with segmental brick arches, and there is a tiled lean-to addition that includes one window with gothic glazing.
