Description

Maple Cottage and Faircot are a pair of early 19th century red brick cottages located on the south side of White Lion Road in Amersham. They feature an old half-hipped tile roof with two linked gables at the center and a central chimney. The cottages are two storeys tall with an attic. Each cottage has two two-storey canted bay windows that have hipped old tile roofs and 4-light casements. There are also two 2-light attic windows with leaded glazing. Faircot has a modern wooden porch, while Maple Cottage includes a 1-storey lean-to with a modern door and window beneath a tiled entice roof.
