Description

Bottle Cottage is a building dating from the late 18th century or early 19th century. It is constructed of flint rubble with red brick dressings and quoins, topped with an old tile roof and featuring a dentil brick cornice. The cottage is two storeys high and has two three-light loaded casements on the front, with the ground floor windows set beneath segmental arches and flush brick bands at the sill level. The central door is topped by a bracketed doorhood. Notably, the building has six diamond panels made from bottle ends, with three panels located above the door and ground floor windows, and three more between the first-floor windows. There is a single storey wing on the south side and a lean-to on the north side.
