Description

The barn located to the west of Loudhams Farmhouse is a 18th-century structure built with a timber frame on a brick plinth, featuring weatherboarding and an old tiled roof. It has a gabled cart entry in the center and a pigeon loft on the east side. The end bays are floored, with the northern bay converted into a dwelling and the southern bay serving as a stable and hay loft. There is a continuous outshot on the west side, which returns as a lean-to addition to the north gable, along with a modern garage extension, all covered with tiled roofs.

Inside, the barn has a three-bay open layout in the center, supported by one queen post and one queen strut collar truss.
