Description

This is a row of cottages, originally eight but now comprising four properties, located on Amersham Road in Little Chalfont. Nos. 21 and 23 date from the early 19th century, constructed of red brick with a tiled roof, featuring two ridge stacks and six flat-headed dormers. The eaves are detailed with dentil brickwork. The cottages are one storey high with an attic. They have segmental arched ground floor openings. Nos. 25 and 27 were built in the mid-19th century, also of brick, with No. 25 incorporating rubble flint panels. These cottages have a tiled roof, ridge stacks, dentil brick eaves, and are two storeys in height. They also feature segmental brick arched ground floor openings, along with modern windows and modern lean-to, tiled porches.
