Description

Latimer Cottage is a 17th century timber-framed house designed in a letter L plan. It has one and a half storeys and features a three-bay front. The building consists of two phases and has brick infill, leaded casements, and old tile roofs. The south-east front showcases gabled and projecting outer bays, with the left bay featuring a tile-roofed canted bay window. The center bay includes a gabled dormer and a central stack. The south-west front has right-hand bays with gabled dormers and a central gabled porch, while the left bay is at a higher level with a dormer and a weathered end stack. At the rear, a wing connects to a 19th-century outbuilding that has garage doors, brick infill, and a tiled roof.
