Description

School Cottage is a former school building dating from around 1850, designed in a letter-L plan. It is constructed of red brick and features old tile roofs. The building is single-storey, with the east wing comprising two bays and the north wing consisting of three bays. There is a porch with a four-centre arch and a flint lozenge panel above it at the angle. On either side of the central stack, there are two-light casements. The leaded casements include gable windows that are mullioned and transomed, complete with hoodmoulds. The window heads are gauged and flat arched, and flint lozenge panels adorn the gables. The stacks have over-sailing courses.
