Description

Woodlands is an early 19th-century building located on Holt Cromer Road. It features grey brick construction, with sections of flint and brick dressings, and has a hipped black-glazed pantile roof. The building is two storeys high and has a large eaves overhang. The facade consists of four bays with sash windows that have glazing bars and flat rubbed arches. The western bay is slightly recessed and made of flint with brick dressings. There is an off-centre doorway that is topped by a projecting gabled porch. A brick string course runs along the eastern side, while a three-storey brick tower block, dating from the late 18th or early 19th century, features a plastered and moulded brick cornice at the second floor level, a plain brick string course at the first floor level, and a moulded brick plinth. Later wings on the northeast side are not of special interest.
