Description

The Grove is an early 19th century house built in the Tudor style. It is constructed of knapped and pebble flintwork, with yellow brick and rendered details. The house has an embattled parapet and mock corner turrets.

The west elevation has two storeys and three bays, with the centre slightly lower than the sides. It has mullion and transom casement windows with drip moulds. A larger central bay window is at ground floor level, featuring a four-centred arch window with intersecting tracery and a drip mould.

The east elevation has three bays with sash windows containing glazing bars. A central doorway and a right-hand bay with a Gothic window are also present. A two-storey wing extends to the north, built of flint with a hipped pantiled roof.
