Description

The Old Post House is an early 18th century house that has undergone some alterations. It is two storeys tall and features three windows. The building has a high-pitched hipped roof, which has been re-tiled. The eaves are boxed, and the structure is made of red brick with some blue headers. It stands on a high plinth of galletted coursed rubble. The windows are modern croisee casements set in old flush moulded frames, and there are gauged brick arches on the ground floor. The entrance consists of a plank door with a rectangular fanlight, located within a wide 19th century gabled wood porch.
