Description
The Buck's Head Inn is a 16th century timber-framed house with an 18th century facade. It has two storeys and three windows, featuring a tiled roof that is half hipped on the right and includes a small central gable. The first floor is tile hung and has modern casement windows. The ground floor has a projecting roughcast public house front. At the rear, there are extensions that appear to be from the 18th century, displaying galletted random rubble masonry with red brick dressings. Inside, there are exposed timbers. The Buck's Head Inn, along with Applewell, Nos 1 & 2 (Pond Cottages), and Nos 1 & 2 (Old School House Cottages), form a group.
