Description

Woodins is a 17th-century or earlier timber-framed building, originally a shepherd's cottage, later named Woodins after a former resident, Henry Woodins. The building has been restored and is now rendered with a pebbledashed finish. It has a thatched roof with an off-centre chimney stack. Modern penticed extensions, weatherboarded, have been added to each side. The building has three windows, with modern sash windows forming semi-dormers to the first floor and casements to the ground floor. A modern brick and tiled gable porch with weatherboarding is on the left side. The interior features exposed beams throughout.
