Description

Brickend is a 17th century or earlier timber-framed building that was later converted into three cottages known as the Red Houses or Cottages. In 1922, it was restored back into a single dwelling. The building has two storeys and is faced with tarred weatherboarding, except for the easternmost window bay, which features red brick and grey headers. It has a hipped thatched roof with a pentice at the back. There are four casement windows and a simple doorcase.
