Description

Hartley Court is a building with an 18th-century facade that hides the remains of an earlier mansion from around 1650. Originally, this was the manor house before a new manor was constructed around 1860. The building is two storeys high and made of red brick, featuring a steeply pitched tiled roof with a modillion eaves cornice. The front has three sash windows with intact glazing bars and a later gabled porch. At the back, there are two gables and a doorcase topped with a flat wooden weather hood. Inside, the property includes a fireplace adorned with swags and fielded panelled doors.
