Description

Hartley Cottage is a 18th century or earlier building that was part of the Fairby Estate during the 18th century. It is two storeys high and has a roughcast exterior, with the south wall being weatherboarded. The cottage features three casement windows and a thatched roof, which includes a pentice portion added on the north side. The entrance has a doorcase with a hipped thatched weather porch supported by rustic pillars.
