Description

Duke's Cottage is a 17th-century timber-frame house, now roughcast in appearance. It has a steep tiled roof with gabled ends. A brick chimney stack is positioned off-centre, featuring lozenge-shaped shafts and moulded panels. The cottage has two storeys and three widely spaced windows. The windows are 4-light casements from the late 18th or early 19th century. A plank door is positioned in front of the chimney stack, and has a modern hood. Modern projecting brick bay windows and a porch are located centrally and to the left.
