Description

The Cottage is a 17th century timber-frame cottage that has been encased in red brick during the 19th century. It features a steep pantile roof with gabled ends, which have shaped barge boards and finials. There is an off-centre brick chimney stack. The building is one storey with an attic, and it has two gabled dormers, each with shaped barge boards and finials, along with 3-light casement windows. The ground floor has modern 3-light casements with glazing bars and a gabled porch on the left side. At the rear, there is a brick lean-to.
