Description

Wolfe Cottages is an early 18th century row of four cottages located on Vicarage Hill in Westerham. Each cottage is two storeys high with an attic, and features a single window. They have half-hipped tiled mansard roofs with four small, flat dormers. The walls are rendered or roughcast. Number 1 has leaded casement windows; Number 2 has square paned casements; and Numbers 3 and 4 have sash windows with glazing bars, all set under shallow segmental arches. A rendered plinth runs along the base of the cottages. Each has a six-panel door, sheltered by a bracketed hood. Wolfe Cottages, along with Copthall Cottages, The Red Cow House, form a group.
