Description

Copthall Cottage is a building dated 1520, featuring one storey and an attic with two windows. It has a timber-framed structure with painted brick elevations that are likely from the early 18th century. The roof is tiled, with eaves and a gutter, and there are two tiled dormers with rendered gable ends. The upper part of the building is tile hung, and it has a tarred plinth. The windows are square paned casements. There is a modern extension on the right side that is designed in a similar style and contains the entrance. Copthall Cottage is part of a group that includes The Red Cow House and Nos 1 to 4 (consecutive) Wolfe Cottages.
