Description
Porter's Farmhouse is a 17th century timber-framed house with a front added in the early to mid-19th century. The original building has two storeys and features a half-hipped tiled roof that slopes low at the back. It includes an old ridge stack and modern casement windows at either end, set within walls made of knapped flint with red brick dressings and tiling above. The front section, which is two storeys high and has four windows, is constructed of pale yellow brick and features a diagonal brick cornice. The roof of this section is low-pitched and slated. The sash windows are adorned with gauged flat brick arches, and there is a four-panel door with a plain, rectangular fanlight.
