Description
East Hill Farmhouse is a building that dates from the 17th, 18th, and 19th centuries, with the central portion being the oldest, dated 1612. The ground floor is constructed of red brick on a flint base, with the upper part tile hung. The chimneystack features the inscription "R.C, 1612". The southern end of the farmhouse is from the 18th century, faced with flints and has red brick window dressings and quoins. The northern end, built in the 19th century, is stuccoed with applied timber-framing and has a half-hipped roof that projects. There is a porch located at the angle of this projection. The entire building has a tiled roof and casement windows, and it is two storeys high with three windows.
