Description

Oaklands is a building dating from around 1820, located on the south-east side of School Lane in West Kingsdown. It is two storeys tall with attics and is now covered in stucco. The roof is hipped and finished with slate, featuring one segmental-headed dormer. The building has a cornice and parapet, and there are three sash windows with intact glazing bars. On the ground floor, there are two 19th-century bays, each containing three windows. Four pilasters separate the end bays. The entrance features a doorcase with a rectangular fanlight and a porch supported by thin cast iron columns.
