Description

Loughrigg is an early 19th-century building located on the north-west side of East Street in South Molton. It is two storeys high with attics and a basement, and is constructed of stuccoed walls. The roof is slate, hipped in form, and incorporates a single dormer window. The building features a bracketed eaves cornice and rusticated quoins. The front elevation has three sash windows with intact glazing bars, and two ground-floor, three-light canted bays with balustrading above. A central doorcase is present, with panelled reveals and a heavy cornice. Cast iron spear railings enclose the front area.
