Description

WEST KINGSDOWN ST CLERE HILL ROAD 1. 5280 Barn and cowshed at Drane Farm TQ 56 SE 6/246 II 2. Probably early C18. Aisled timber barn of 5 bays with Queen post roof. Base of ironstone with galleting. Half-hipped roof now covered with asbestos sheeting. Cowshed leads off at right angles. Use of building material in buildings of this size is rare.
