Description

The barn and cowshed at Drane Farm, likely built in the early 18th century, is an aisled timber structure consisting of five bays and features a Queen post roof. The base is made of ironstone with galleting. The half-hipped roof is currently covered with asbestos sheeting. The cowshed extends at right angles from the barn. The use of building materials in structures of this size is uncommon.
