Description

The outbuilding located to the north-east of St Clere is a Grade II listed L-shaped structure, primarily dating from the 18th century. It is connected to the main house by a wall. The northern parts of the building feature a carriage arch at the north end, which includes a first floor and a cupola above. The building is constructed of red brick with slated roofs. The south face, which forms the north side of a cobbled courtyard, showcases Tudor brickwork with hollow-chamfered, three-centered stone arches leading to doorways. Additionally, a stable wing extends eastward from the north end. This outbuilding, along with St Clere, the forecourt wall and gates, and the outbuildings to the north-west, forms a cohesive group.
