Description

Elms Farmhouse is a 17th-century timber-framed and plastered house, with an early 19th-century white brick extension added to the north-west end. The building is two storeys high and features a three-window range with double-hung sash windows that have vertical glazing bars, set in plain reveals on the 19th-century front, while casement windows are found elsewhere. The front of the house has a parapet with a brick dentil course, and the central window is tall with a semi-circular arched head. A six-panel door is adorned with a fluted architrave and a hood supported by brackets. The roof is tiled, featuring stopped gables and end chimney stacks.
