Description
Oakwood Lodge is an early 19th-century house of large proportions, standing two storeys high with five windows. It features a low-pitched double-span hipped roof covered in slate, with paired brackets supporting the eaves soffit. The first floor is constructed of brick, while the ground floor is finished in stucco, both painted white. The house has long casement windows with horizontal bars. A later addition includes a porch leading to a four-panel double door topped with a rectangular fanlight. The south side of the building also has two storeys and two windows, with a notably large three-light window on the first floor to the left. Inside, there are reeded door architraves with paterae at the corners and original woodwork around the windows.
