Description

Oak Lodge Farmhouse is a 2-storey villa built in the second quarter of the 19th century, featuring three windows. It has a moderately low pitched hipped roof covered with slate and eaves soffits. The exterior is made of galleted squared rubble with sandy brick dressings. The first floor has sash windows with glazing bars, while the ground floor features long casements with margin lights. The entrance door consists of six flat panels, topped with a reeded head and a rectangular fanlight. Reeded pilasters support a leaded cornice hood above the door. The first floor is tile hung on the returns, and there is a Gothic window with Y-tracery in the left return.
