Description

26 Park Road is an early 19th century small villa that stands two storeys high and features two windows. The building has a low-pitched hipped roof covered with slate and eaves soffit. Its exterior is finished in stucco with incised lines. The first floor has replaced sash windows that are fitted with external louvred shutters and later keyblocks adorned with masks. On the ground floor, there are long casement windows with margin lights, set in narrow moulded architraves that also have similar keyblocks. The entrance includes a half-glazed four-panel door with a rectangular fanlight, framed by a modified entablature surround. A loggia runs along the ground floor, supported by wooden posts and topped with a swept roof that has been renewed in galvanised iron. To the left, there is a set-back extension that features a decorative gothic chimney.
