Description
Delville is an early to mid-19th century villa that stands two storeys high with a basement, featuring three windows. The exterior is stuccoed, topped by a fairly low pitched slated roof that has two pairs of end chimneys and a deep, bracketed eaves soffit above a moulded cornice. The villa has segment-headed casement windows with margin lights and Venetian shutters. A similar style of glazing is used for the door, which is set in a prostyle Ionic porch that has a modillion cornice. This porch is accessed by two flights of angled steps with a handrail. Notably, the respond pilasters have been omitted. There are also small single-storey side wings with round-arched openings.
