Description

This is a circa 1840 house of three storeys and five windows, built to a large scale. The exterior is finished with cement and incised lines. The fairly low-pitched slate roof has deep eaves with paired brackets. The sash windows on the upper floors retain glazing bars, while the ground floor features French windows. Moulded architraves frame the windows, with those on the first floor incorporating ears and feet. A central round-headed doorway is accentuated by a console bracketed architrave. Large rear extensions have been added. A glass-roofed, pedimented porch projects from the front of the house onto the road. The building is of group value, contributing to the character of the area.
