Description
The Rosery is a house dating from around 1700 that was refronted and modernised between 1830 and 1840. It has two storeys and three windows, with a set-back left extension from the early to mid-19th century. The building features hipped tiled roofs, with the main house having a high-pitched roof. The front is stuccoed, while the rest is painted brick. The first floor has sash windows with external louvred shutters, although the centre window has been blocked. On the ground floor, there are long casement windows with margin lights and a central door framed by a modified entablature, all situated under a trellised loggia with a swept lead roof. The rear wing, dating from around 1700, has had its roof renewed at a lower pitch. The interior contains features from the early to mid-19th century.
