Description

Piggott's Cottage, also known as Pickett's Cottage, is a 17th century or earlier timber-framed cottage located in Chiddingstone at Cooper's Corner. The building has two storeys and features two windows. It has a high-pitched tiled roof that is half hipped at the right side and includes a stack at the left end. The upper floor is tile-hung, while the ground floor is made of modern brick, with some timber visible beneath the tiling. The cottage has 19th century one-bar casements. The roof slopes low at the back, and inside, there is much stout exposed timber, including enormous tie beams upstairs.
