Description

Anchor Cottage is an early 19th-century cottage that stands two storeys tall and features three windows. It has a fairly low pitched, hipped slate roof with eaves soffit. The building is constructed of red brick and has stuccoed window arches. The windows are recessed sash types with glazing bars. The entrance has a modern plank door, which is topped by a reeded cornice head and a patterned rectangular fanlight. This is set within a stuccoed surround that includes pilasters, an entablature, and a blocking course.
