Description
Shelfanger Lodge is an early 19th century house. It is stuccoed and has a low-pitched hipped slate roof with lead rolls to the hips and ridge. The house is two storeys high and has three windows. These are sash windows with glazing bars in exposed casings. The central panelled door has a rectangular fanlight with glazing bars, set within a moulded architrave featuring roundels in the frieze and a cornice hood supported by brackets and slim columns. At the rear (west) is a 18th century painted brick wing with a black glazed pantile roof, gabled ends, and one storey and attic. It features casement windows and a gabled dormer.
