Description

Hill Cottages is a 17th-century cottage with a timber-frame structure that is plastered. It features a pantile roof with heightened saves and gable ends, and it stands two storeys tall. The cottage has three windows, which are modern casements with glazing bars. The central entrance has a 17th-century boarded door with wide cover fillets and studs. There is an internal brick chimney stack located at the south end of the building. Inside, the exposed timber frame has been much altered, and it is said to have two blocked original windows with square mullions set diagonally. There are also two later adjoining cottages to the north.
