81, London Road

No. 81 on London Road is a late 18th-century building that stands three storeys tall with a lean-to roof. Its red brick façade features a random stone plinth and a panel of random stone beneath the ground floor window. The second floor is rendered. Access is via a plain boarded cottage door, which is located up two steps, with a sliding casement window to the right. On the first floor, there is a square projecting window that resembles those found on the first floor of No. 79. The second floor has one sash window with glazing bars. This building is part of a group that includes Nos. 73 to 93 (odd).
