LENHAM LIVERTON STREET TQ 85 SE (east side)

4/203 Mansion Farmhouse

GV II Farmhouse. C15. Timber-framed, with ground floor clad in chequered red and grey brick in C19. End bays of first floor tile-hung. Hall close-studded with plaster infilling. Right side elevation-red brick with occasional grey headers in English bond on ground floor, first floor tile-hung. Plain tile roof. Wealden,with hall of one or possibly 2 bays, and storeyed bay to either end, that to right being longer. 2 storeys, with cellar under right end bay. End bays jettied. Hipped roof, with hip returned along right side elevation. Multiple brick ridge stack off-centre to right and smaller projecting stack with stone base to right end. Irregular fenestration of three 3-light C19 casements, one to each outer bay and one to hall. Ribbed door with 4-centred arched head with carved leaves in spandrels, at left end of right end bay. C19 rear addition to right. Interior not inspected.
