Description
Ivy House Farm is a farmhouse dating from the 15th or early 16th century. It has a timber-framed core, with the ground floor constructed of painted brick in Flemish bond, while the first floor is pebble-dashed, a change made in the mid-20th century, featuring applied studding that is broadly spaced and supported by straight and curved tension braces. The building stands two storeys high on a plinth and has a steeply-pitched hipped roof with gablets. There is a multiple brick stack located on the front slope of the roof, which is off-centre to the right. The windows are arranged irregularly, with three 2-light casements on the first floor, each topped with small gabled pebble-dashed and studded pediments just above the eaves. The entrance features a ribbed door that is off-centre to the left, accompanied by a mid-20th century pebble-dashed and studded porch. The interior has not been inspected.
