Description
Pond Farmhouse is a farmhouse that dates back to the 15th century, with an addition made in 1830. The building is timber framed and covered in painted brick laid in Flemish bond, topped with a plain tile roof. The left side of the house was raised in 1830 to create two storeys, with the roof hipped at the front and left side. The right side consists of one storey and an attic, originally built on a flint plinth, with the roof hipped to the right and featuring a gablet. There is a rear stack on the left and a projecting brick stack at the right end. The right half has one eaves dormer, and there is a small sash window on the first floor of the left side. A 20th-century porch with a fielded panelled door has also been added.
