Description

Brooms Hall is a cottage dating from the 16th century. It is timber framed with brick cladding in Flemish bond on the lower part and is tile-hung below the eaves, topped with a plain tile roof. The building has one storey and an attic, with a hipped roof at both ends. There is a brick stack on the front slope of the roof towards the right end. The windows feature irregular fenestration, including one three-light and one single-light 20th-century casement on the ground floor. A central eaves dormer is present, and there is a 20th-century ribbed door located under a timber porch.
