Description

Hucking Court Farmhouse and Hucking Court Cottage are a house dating from the late 16th or early 17th century. The ground floor is clad in red brick with occasional grey headers in a Flemish bond pattern. The first floor is tile-hung with fishscale tiles. A gable end has chalk lumpwork on the ground floor, with plain tile-hanging above. The roof is tiled and hipped at both ends. A large projecting red brick stack is located at the right end. The house originally had six timber-framed bays and features irregular fenestration with four two-light casement windows. A central ribbed door, possibly a simplified ecclesiastical door, is present, along with a 19th-century plank door to the left end. The interior retains exposed beams and some exposed posts.
