Description
South Green Farmhouse is a house with a late 18th-century facade that likely covers an earlier structure. It is built of red brick with some grey headers, primarily in Flemish bond. There is a straight joint in the brickwork of the front elevation to the left of the door. The roof is covered with plain tiles and features two storeys set on a plinth, with a moulded wood eaves cornice at the front and a brick dentilled cornice on the sides. The roof is hipped at both ends. There is a brick ridge stack towards the left end, a brick end stack to the left, and a projecting brick stack at the right end. The front has a regular arrangement of three windows, each with 2-light casements. A ribbed door is located under a simple gabled porch, which is off-centre to the left. At the rear, there is a lean-to structure.
