Description
Deans Bottom Farmhouse is a 16th-century farmhouse that features a timber frame with the front clad in rendered brick and a plain tiled roof. The building has two storeys and a hipped roof, with a stack located at the left end. On the first floor, there are three wooden casement windows, while the ground floor has two casement windows and a plank and stud door positioned to the center right. At the rear, the farmhouse displays an exposed close-studded frame, a continuous jetty, and mullioned windows. Inside, part of the building served as lodgings for laborers, and there is an exterior first-floor half-door. The interior also includes a 16th-century winder and dog-leg stair with solid timber stairs.
