Description

Dean's Bank Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the 16th century, with cladding added in the 18th century. It is timber framed and covered with red brick, topped by a plain tiled roof. The building has two storeys, standing on a plinth, and features a hipped roof with a catslide outshot to the left. There are stacks located at the centre left and projecting from the end right. Each floor has three wood casements, and there is a half-glazed door on the left side of the front. The rear and the rear wing display exposed close-studded framing. Inside, the rear wing contains a mantel dated 1590, marked with the initials T. R.A.
