Description
Church Farmhouse and Church Farm Cottage is a vicarage that has been converted into part farmhouse and part cottage. The farmhouse features an early 19th-century facade that may be built on a structure from the 16th century or earlier. It is constructed of red brick with a plain tile roof, standing two storeys high with attics. The roof is hipped on the left side and gabled with tile-hanging on the right. There is a multiple red brick chimney stack on the front slope of the roof at the right end. The facade has two dormers with triangular pediments and a regular arrangement of two windows, which contain glazing bar sashes. At the right end, there is a gabled porch that houses a door with fielded panels and a semi-circular fanlight featuring radiating glazing bars.
To the right of the farmhouse is the cottage, which is much lower and dates from the mid-to-late 18th century. It is also made of red brick with a plain tile roof and has two storeys. The roof is hipped at the right end, and the cottage has an irregular arrangement of windows, including one three-light and one two-light casement. There is a door located in the right return elevation.
